This project involved the demolition and excavation of a rear courtyard to allow for a three storey extension to be constructed. Significant underpinning to the adjoining building was required. Working in a tenanted building, with a hotel adjacent and undertaking significant demolition, excavation and extension works required out of hours works and close co-ordination between all the project participants. A new goods lift, escalators and retail fit out works to the basement tenancy were also undertaken.
